Engelhardt wrote a book called A Carefree Future (Eine Sorgenfreie Zukunft) in 1898, [1] which described a colony of fruit and vegetable eaters, specifically cocoivores (coconut eaters), he was founding in the then-German (now Papua New Guinean) Bismarck Archipelago in the South Pacific, a place known for its headhunters.
