L'Amour, also known as Andy Warhol's L'Amour, is a 1972 underground film written and directed by Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol. The film stars Donna Jordan, Michael Sklar, Jane Forth, and Max Delys. A farcical comedy meant to be campy and raunchy, it was The Factory's version of the 1953 film How To Marry A Millionaire.
Forth appeared in the Factory film Women In Revolt (1971) and she had a leading role in Warhol's next production, L'Amour (1972), alongside Warhol superstar Donna Jordan. [3] L'Amour was filmed in Paris in the fall of 1970. [11] In February 1971, Forth accompanied Warhol to Europe to attend the opening of his retrospective at the Tate Gallery. [12]
L'Amour (1972) was filmed in Paris followed by Andy Warhol's Frankenstein (1973) and Andy Warhol's Dracula (1974) filmed in Rome. Warhol's longtime partner Jed Johnson, who had worked with him and Morrissey on several films, directed his final production, Andy Warhol's Bad (1977). [9]

In 1970, Jordan joined artist Andy Warhol's milieu at the Factory and became a visible personality in his entourage. Jordan co-starred with her friend, Warhol superstar Jane Forth, in the film L'Amour (1972). [6] Filming took place in Paris in the fall of 1970, and Jordan stayed there once it was over.
