Hoyt Archery is an American manufacturer of recurve and compound bows located in Salt Lake City, Utah. [1] Most notable for their competition recurve bows, which are featured prominently in the Olympics; every gold medalist in individual archery at the 2012 Summer Olympics shot a Hoyt recurve. [ 2 ]

Herman A. Hoyt (March 12, 1909 - August 29, 2000) was an American biblical scholar. He was one of the founding professors at Grace Theological Seminary in 1937. [ 1 ] In 1962, he became president of Grace College and Seminary, a position he held until his retirement in 1976.
