I would argue that it is a genuine translation or a satire translation, rather than a parody. Many of the 'translators' (most, actually) have earnestly adapted the text into LOLSpeak. LOLSpeak has now rules of grammar, and syntax, along with spelling protocols for conversion of English into the language of kittehz.
