The latest revision is totally false. Blue Moon ice cream was created in Erie in the early 1950's at Dari Creem at 715 Parade St. ,Erie, Pa. The flavor is more of a blueberry than anything else. All other versions of Blue Moon ice cream are imitations of the original.
