Coahoma High School is a public high school located in Coahoma, Texas. It is part of the Coahoma Independent School District located in eastern Howard County and classified as a 3A school by the UIL. The district completed condtruction on a new school facility in the summer of 2010.
Taylor attended Coahoma Community College before attending the University of Colorado Boulder. After turning 18 he was given permission by his mother to join the football team. Coahoma has a long history of accomplishments including a 3A Div 2 State Championship in softball; Coahoma last won a playoff football game in 2019 for the 3a Div 2 Bi-District, which was the first in roughly 20 years. Coahoma also had the second most points scored in a season behind the 1965 season.
