Manuel Flores (Jose Manuel Nepomunceno Paublino Flores; ca. 1801–1868) served as a volunteer in the Texas army in 1835–1838. Fighting and commanding, he rose through the ranks to reach sergeant status during the fight for Texas independence and was commissioned a captain during the Republic years.
In 1965, Connally was elected to represent the 58th district of the Texas House of Representatives. [1] In 1967, he was elected to the Texas Senate in the 21st district, [1] succeeding Abraham Kazen. He was succeeded by John Traeger in 1973. Connally moved to Cody, Wyoming and lived there until his death in December 2000 at the age of 77. [2]

The Wilson County Courthouse and Jail are located in Floresville, Texas. They were added to the National Register of Historic Places in Texas in 1978 and the courthouse as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1984. Architect Alfred Giles used local brick for the Italianate design.
Moultrie was born in Harris County, Georgia on April 2, 1932. He attended West Georgia College and Mercer University School of Law. [1] Moultrie served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1985 [1] to 1993. Moultrie died on January 8, 2024, at the age of 91. [2]
