But having all of this stuff from one reviewer is a bit much: Bill Gibron of PopMatters gave the film a 9 out of 10 and said the film is a "startling achievement" for Jodie Foster and Terrence Howard. Gibron said Foster deserves another Oscar, and said the film is "yet another notch in the growing artistic oeuvre of Neil Jordan."
