in your case theres a cooking campfire causing a tick crash. please report it Here, so it can be fixed! For you, just load without Lithium, remove the campfire and then you should be able to load with Lithium. Caused by: lithium.mixins.json:world.block_entity_ticking.sleeping.campfire.lit.CampfireBlockEntityMixin from mod lithium;
Sodium is the fabric equivalent of optifine, lithium helps reduce server tick time and increase framerate and responsiveness, phosphor fixes up the lighting engine. 2. Reply. 0tter501. • 1 yr. ago. use lithium 100% and use starlight instead of phosphor, wayyy better performance than phosphor. 1. Reply. true.
Lithium is a optimization mod which targets improving server tick rates. This is done through numerous improvements to the entity collision resolution, block shapes, mob AI tasks and brains, tick scheduling, and chunk saving/loading, all while avoiding making any changes to vanilla behavior.
5. Sort by: Add a Comment. alakeybrayn. • 2 yr. ago. Sodium yes, Lithium probably not. Sodium works exclusively client side so you dont need it on servers anyway, but Lithium optimizes stuff like spawning, pathfinding and other ticking AI tasks, so having it on your client will only help in singleplayer. never use optifine with fabric. it's extremely buggy, has pretty much no mod compatibility whatsoever and has a really bad performance. sodium (better rendering engine) + lithium (server side optimizations, e.g. to mob pathfinding) + phosphor/starlight (better lighting engine) + hydrogen (lower ram usage) + indium (mod compatibility) + iris ...

You add the mod to your server. Do you know how to create a modded minecraft server with fabric? I can't help you there, unfortunately, so you'll have to look it up on your own. Once that is done, youl literally just add lithium. Done. Players don't need to have lithium: it's perfectly fine existing entirely server-side.
Fabric+lithium(+phosphor) don’t break redstone, wheras paper does. Some plugins can easily be rewritten for fabric, as I have found out trying to make a mod similar to coreprotect. Fabric updates much faster, and mods can also be updated before a release by recompiling them for the latest version of fabric.
PaperMC has a daily update schedule, and is very quick at keeping up with major updates, where FabricMC is a lot more complex and also being bottlenecked by the Lithium mod team. I also had some thoughts regarding the lack of Data Pack support on PaperMC, but in my opinion plugin support compensates for that.
Well, I've tested Lithium Mod again, and this time not checking client FPS TPS, but server's TPS. Really good job from the JellySquid team!
