    I have called for the past 3-4 weeks, everyday and never get through.     When I went to the unemployment office I had my big list of places I applied to, with web contacts & confirmation of submission screenshots etc, but boy did I feel like a fool. All the folks around me were filling out the sheets by hand with helpers at the office who would even do the writing for them!

    Maryland has the worst unemployment in the COUNTRY. It's not designed to work, and very very very very very very few people have actually ever successfully received it. The only time it actually worked was during Covid, when they were getting Federal funding. Now it's worse than it ever was.

    The Unemployment office and my representative office weren’t much help. But, my representative office told me that issues with the unemployment office is very common problem they hear a lot in their office which is ridiculous!     Please don't give up! I agree with the person who stated that MD just want people to think that the unemployment numbers are at a all time low. Well I guess it is if people can't login to BEACON, get through to unemployment via their telephone customer service or email correspondence so to me it would be low in numbers!
