In April 2003, Coquille River Broadcasters, Inc., reached an agreement to sell this station and three others to Bicoastal Media through their Bicoastal CB, LLC, subsidiary for a total sale price of $1.5 million. [6] The four-station deal was approved by the FCC on August 22, 2003, and the transaction was consummated on October 16, 2003. [7]

The station opened on 1 August 1849. It was rebuilt in 1894. There was a rail connection from the station to the nearby Allman's Bandon Distillery. Regular passenger services were withdrawn on 1 April 1961. [1]

Located near the village of Upton, the station opened as Brinney on 1 August 1849. It was renamed Upton and Brinney on 1 November 1851. It was further renamed Upton on 1 July 1883, and Upton and Innishannon from 1 July 1894. [citation needed]

Brandon railway station is on the Breckland Line in the East of England, serving the town of Brandon, Suffolk, although the station is actually situated across the county boundary in Norfolk. The line runs between Cambridge in the west and Norwich in the east. Brandon is 86 miles 32 chains (139 km) from London Liverpool Street via Ely.

The Cork and Bandon Railway was formed by the Cork and Bandon Railway Act 1845 (8 & 9 Vict. c. cxxii) and began operations on the 6 + 3 ⁄ 4 miles (10.9 km) from Bandon to Ballinhassig from 1 August 1849, [3] 25 seat horse omnibuses being used for transfers to and from Cork City.
