The National Digital University (NDU) is India's first digital university, envisioned by the Ministry of Education (India) under its National Education Policy 2020. The start of the academic year for 2023-24 is scheduled to take place in July 2023 (now 2024).
It is a statutory State Technical University and was established by the Government of Maharashtra through the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University Act.
