The Pine Club was founded in 1947. Jim Sullivan owned the restaurant from 1947–1954, Lloyd Meinzer from 1954–1979, and Dave Hulme from 1979–2018; [2] it was sold in 2018 in a private sale with the new owner undisclosed.

Middletown is a city in Butler and Warren counties in the U.S. state of Ohio.The population was 50,987 at the 2020 census.It is part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area in southwest Ohio, 29 miles (47 km) northeast of Cincinnati and 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Dayton.
During the 1800s the family business included a general store and meat market. The Mandris family then bought the business and established a restaurant and a souvenir shop. Jerry Hardesty bought the property at 1968 and renamed the business into Middleton Tavern. [2] [3] [4]
Middletown High School is a four-year public high school in Middletown, Ohio.It is the only public high school in the Middletown City School District. The present location of the school was established in the fall of 1969, being moved from its original location at 1415 Girard Avenue. [4]
The Middleton Cup is one of the events at the annual Bowls England National Championships. [ 1 ] It is an Inter-County Championship for six rinks of men's teams.
