Marella Voyager (formerly MV Mercury, Celebrity Mercury, Mein Schiff 2 and Mein Schiff Herz) is the second of two Century-class cruise ships operated by TUI Cruises.Built for Celebrity Cruises at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, she was launched on 11 July 1997, and was christened and entered service as MV Mercury on 27 October 1997.

On May 27, 2010, it was announced that another Century-class ship, Celebrity Mercury, would become the latest addition to TUI's fleet, renamed Mein Schiff 2. In 1988 she was sold to Holland America Line , renamed Westerdam , and in 1990 lengthened by 36.9 m (121 ft 1 in) at Meyer Werft.
MS Thomson Celebration was a cruise ship owned by TUI UK, and last operated by their United Kingdom-based Marella Cruises. She was built in 1984 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France for Holland America Line (HAL) as MS Noordam. On 29 April 2020, Marella announced that the ship would be retired from the fleet and sold for scrap. [7]

In March 2018, it was announced that Royal Caribbean Cruises and Ctrip were to close the SkySea Cruise Line brand and that the line's sole ship SkySea Golden Era would join the Marella fleet in place of Mein Schiff 2 which would stay with TUI Cruises. [3] [4] Skysea Golden Era would take her final voyage on 29 August 2018.
