I tried to download The Weather Channel App for Windows 10, but The Weather Channel App is not showing in The Windows Store. I checked to see if I had a download for the Weather Channel App saved on my main computer, but I don't have a saved download because it was installed directly from The Windows Store, not a download.
Clicking the map tile will give you a full map window. Clock button on left side gives the weather by the hour; one of my favorite choices; but the hourly goes downward instead of across your screen . Hourly weather is also buried down in the first window but you have to search for it. Immediate temp comes up when you open the weather app.
But there is no Weather Channel app that comes with Windows 10 unless it was installed by your PC manufacturer. I don't even find a Weather Channel app for Windows in the Microsoft Store app to help you install. You can go into the Microsoft Store app in Start Menu, type Weather in it's search box to browse through the apps that are available.
The MSN Weather app has been watered down now, it no longer has map options, so please let us get apps from real weather channel that have maps built in. Thanks please. Report abuse
How can I re-download a fresh copy of the Weather Channel. I tried going to weather.com and downloading it from their site, but since the app is now a Windows 10 app, it only gives the option to download from the Windows store. They do not have a separate download for their app since, it is now available from the windows store.

I have given up on the Weather Channel Desktop App on my Windows 7 Ultimate machine. To even install it results in wild swings in screen resolution, resulting in a complete mini disaster where that machine is concerned. I will retain that app on my Windows XP Professional machine where it works as it was designed to work.

Only Microsoft would allow one of their standard applications to fail and then make the customer go through a lengthy, difficult repair process. If they gave a damn about their customers there would be a live link in their part of this discussion that says "Repair Weather App" that would determine the problem and fix the app.
