The 2024–25 Liga Portugal (also known as Liga Portugal Betclic [1] for sponsorship reasons) is the 91st season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs and the fourth season under the current Liga Portugal title. This is the eighth Primeira Liga season to use video assistant referee (VAR).
The 2024–25 Campeonato de Portugal is the twelfth season of Portuguese football's renovated fourth-tier league, since the merging of the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão in 2013, and the ninth season under the current Campeonato de Portugal title.
The 2024–25 season is the 132nd season in the history of Sporting CP, and the club's 91st consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football.In addition to the domestic league, the club is participating in this season's editions of the Taça de Portugal, the Taça da Liga, the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, and the UEFA Champions League.
