Lewis Nixon III (September 30, 1918 – January 11, 1995) [1] was a United States Army officer who, during World War II, served at the company, battalion, and regimental level with the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. Nixon was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers by Ron Livingston.
After his discharge from the Army, Winters worked as a production supervisor for his close wartime friend Captain Lewis Nixon at Nixon's family business, Nixon Nitration Works of Nixon, New Jersey (now Edison Township), [3]: 257 rising to become general manager in 1950.
He is best known for playing Peter Gibbons in Office Space (1999) and Captain Lewis Nixon III in the miniseries Band of Brothers (2001).
