The English dub on the disc is the original dub recorded by Manga Entertainment and Animaze, free from any editing of profanity and both English and Japanese dubs have been remixed into 5.1 audio. Easter eggs on the DVD contain three Japanese trailers for the film as well as making available a version of the film with the Japanese credits.
The English dub was produced in association with Optimum Productions in Toronto, Canada, and featured most of the original DIC Entertainment English cast reprising their roles. The edited version of the dub was censored for content and replaced the music with cues from the DIC version of the first two seasons of the anime; the vocal song "Moon ...
Note: Early episode guides apparently stated that episode 51 (season 2/episode 25) of the dub series would be "Adventures in Candy Land." This episode was not dubbed or aired in the U.S., possibly due to concerns from Disney–ABC Television Group about it encouraging children to overindulge in sweets.
The final episodes, episodes 96 to 100 in Japan, were not aired on TV until late in the anime's run, and were instead released on DVD as the movie Kirby: Fright to the Finish!. Some episodes were aired out of their original order, sometimes to air a holiday-themed episode closer to that holiday or to coincide with an event happening at the time.
