Anyway, GHTV being emulated and the news that community made adapters have finally unlocked the ability to use old guitar controllers with Rock Band 4 has maybe lead to a small renaissance of the two games. I know there's always Clone Hero, but there's something about experiencing these games within the original "package".
This is a brand new CIB Redoctane white wireless guitar/receiver. I've read through their instruction manual, did exactly as listed, and looked through the troubleshooting section. Can't seem to get this thing to work. There isn't sync button. Basically, plug in receiver, controller port 1. Turn on system. Turn on guitar, guitar looks for receiver.

Guitar Hero is dead-dead, and Harmonix has been clearly shifted their resources away from Rock Band 4 to focus more on Fortnite (though they're still managing to keep up with weekly DLC). There's just not much else to be done other than investing in instruments to play Clone Hero, which is a thriving community.
