It heads to the north-northeast for nine miles (14 km) to an intersection with Iowa 9 on the southwest side of Decorah. DMACC has experienced tremendous growth in the last two decades. In the fall of 2000, 10,803 students were enrolled at DMACC. By the fall of 2011, that number grew to 25,425.
