Natasha Margaret Kaplinsky OBE (born 9 September 1972) [1] [2] is an English newsreader, TV presenter and journalist, best known for her roles as a studio anchor on Sky News, BBC News, Channel 5 and ITV News. As of September 2022, she is the president of the British Board of Film Classification.
Natasha Kaplinsky – presenter on BBC Breakfast from 2002, when she joined from Sky News, until 2005, and then the BBC Six O'Clock News from 2005 until 2007. While with the BBC she also appeared the One and the Ten O'Clock bulletins, as well as presenting on Children in Need. She left to become the face of Five News in October 2007.
Kaplinsky married Catherine Charlewood, a psychoanalyst in 1969. They have a daughter, Natasha Kaplinsky, a TV presenter (born 1972) a son, Benjamin Kaplinsky, a technology lawyer (born 1975) [6] and four grandchildren. His daughter, Natasha Kaplinsky with her husband Justin have two children, Arlo and Angelica.
