The Contemporary Arts Center (abbreviated CAC) is a contemporary art museum in Cincinnati, Ohio and one of the first contemporary art institutions in the United States. The CAC is a non-collecting museum that focuses on new developments in painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, performance art and new media.
The Delaware Contemporary is Delaware's only contemporary art museum. Founded in 1979 as the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts (DCCA) it rebranded to its current name in 2015. [ 1 ] It is a non-collecting museum focused on work by local, regional, as well as national and international artists.
They are teaching artists at the Cincinnati Art Museum and present work at the Contemporary Arts Center in Downtown. They go on to teach at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and at other area schools.
Metrobot is an electronic public art sculpture designed by Nam June Paik. At the time of its unveiling in 1988, it was Paik's first outdoor sculpture and his largest.
