Motel Hell is a 1980 American comedy horror film directed by Kevin Connor [2] and starring Rory Calhoun, Nancy Parsons, and Nina Axelrod.The plot follows farmer, butcher, motel manager, and meat entrepreneur Vincent Smith, who traps travelers and harvests them for his human sausages.
Lorraine Toussaint (/ t uː ˈ s ɑː n t / [2] [3] born April 4, 1960) is a Trinidadian–born actress based in the United States. She is the recipient of various accolades, including a Black Reel Award, a Critics' Choice Television Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Her noted films include Roller Boogie (1979), the now cult classic, slasher parody Motel Hell (1980), Time Walker (1982), Cross Country (1983) and Critters 3 (1991). In the mid 80s, Axelrod began her present work in film casting.
She made her film debut in 1961 as an extra in West Side Story and made uncredited appearances in several musical films, including The Music Man, Bye Bye Birdie, and Funny Girl before being cast in Such Good Friends and How to Frame a Figg in 1971.
