Samdrup Jongkhar (Dzongkha:བསམ་གྲུབ་ལྗོངས་མཁར་) is a town and seat of Samdrup Jongkhar District in Bhutan. [ 1 ] The town is located at the south-eastern part of Bhutan and borders the Indian state of Assam .
