Harbour Island is situated adjacent to Downtown across the Garrison Channel.Other nearby areas include Davis Islands and Channelside.The Tampa Convention Center is located directly across the Harbour Island Bridge and Channelside is just across Beneficial Drive, both walking distance.
The main roads through Tarrytown are State Road 50 and State Road 471.An abandoned railroad line formerly owned by the Orange Belt Railway spanning from Trilby in Pasco County to Sylvan Lake in Seminole County runs northeast and southwest in Tarrytown, and can be found on SR 471 just south of the intersection with SR 50.
Developed in the 1920s and 1930s, the street is the center of the Miami Art Deco District, which contains about 900 preserved, contributing buildings.
