The Nevada Northern Railway – McGill Depot in McGill, Nevada was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. [1] It is a one-and-one-half-story, Craftsman style railroad depot, built of concrete block walls on a poured concrete foundation. [2] It was constructed by the Nevada Northern Railway.
The town was located at the former interchange point between the Southern Pacific Railroad and the Nevada Northern Railway, and came into being when construction of the Nevada Northern began in 1905.
