"To Be with You" is a song by American rock band Mr. Big, released in November 1991 as the second single from their second album, Lean into It (1991). The ballad reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks and topped the charts in 11 other countries, including Australia, Canada, Germany, and New Zealand.
The song was composed by drummer Debbi Peterson and Walker Igleheart, [3] and produced by Davitt Sigerson. Peterson sang lead vocals on the song, one of the only two A-sides upon which she did so (along with a cover of Katrina and The Waves "Going Down to Liverpool" in 1984). The track was remixed by Chris Lord-Alge for the single release.
The song was used in season 5, episode 2 of Ray Donovan as Ray and Abby are driving around on their anniversary. Janine sings the song to her baby in the hospital in season 2, episode 8 of The Handmaid's Tale.
