Construction sheet approved by the Philippine Heraldry Committee on January 24, 1955.
The most common provincial flag design is a plain field of a single color with the provincial seal placed in the center; of this design the most prevalent field color used is white, followed by shades of yellow, of green and of blue. [1] Some of these plain flags have additional text above and/or below the seal, usually involving the province name.
Date: 8 October 2007: Source: The design was taken from Executive Order No. 20, s. 1936 and exact colors from the official website of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines based on the January 24, 1955 construction sheet approved by the Philippine Heraldry Committee for the purpose of standardizing the specifications of the flag.
