The seventh and final game is worth a jackpot of £250,000; contestants who complete this game are said to have "beaten the Cube". It is a more difficult version of one of the six games a contestant previously played. In the original format, seven contestants have reached this level, with six choosing to stop and keep their winnings of £100,000.
The game then follows by asking the person to place and describe a cube in the scene. Once the cube is completely described, the narrator of the game then asks for the player to describe a ladder that is also placed in the scene. This process continues with foliage and/or flowers, a horse, and finally, a storm.
The 3DS version of The Cube received "generally unfavorable" reviews according to review aggregator Metacritic. [4]Daan Koopman for Nintendo World Report rated the game 5/10, stating that "Considering the only person to win The Cube was a double Olympic gold medalist, I'm not surprised the game would be hard."
