The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine is the veterinary school of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. The college only enrolls professional program D.V.M. students and graduate students pursuing M.S. or Ph.D. degrees. No undergraduates are enrolled in the college.
The University of Florida's Maples Center for Forensic Medicine offers a graduate certificate in wildlife forensic sciences. This program consists of three courses at the MS level with a focus on the application of forensic science and medicine to wildlife crime. It is the only program of its type in the United States.

The facility was named after the fourth president of the University of Florida, J. Hillis Miller Sr., who served from 1947 to 1953.Miller spearheaded the effort to fund and build the university's College of Medicine and its teaching hospital, which were incorporated into the Health Science Center.
