My bro-in-law has an Ithaca M6 Scout in 22 Hornet/410 marked USAF property. Got it from an estate sale. Its in pristine condition, looks like it was never shot. (How many of these USAF guns were) What is this thing really worth.

I pulled out the m6 and first shot the .22L and then the .410. Next thong you know a bunch of other shooters came to my lane and asked what the hell was I shooting. So, about 10 shooters got to shoot it and they all were unanimous of the opinion that it was a hoot to shoot. Almost all of them had necer seen one before.

In referrring to cartridges and shot shells, the "head" is the back end (hence "head stamp). Headspace in any firearm is the space between whatever supports the cartridge in the chamber and the breechblock, that is the room for the "head" of that cartridge or shell.
