He hears D.W. singing a song about Nadine and copies it. Arthur feels guilty, so he mails the song with D.W.'s name instead of his, and it wins the contest, much to D.W.'s confusion.
Meanwhile, Arthur and Buster have their sights set on being in the grade four classroom taught by Mr. Cramp (B. J. Novak). However, Arthur and friends realize that MC is not original after all and that they learned a lot of things with Mr. Ratburn, so they write a duet and create a poster with all the stuff he taught them.
Arthur and Buster trick Mr. Ratburn into recording himself reading a book for young children, which they then edit over a manipulated photo of him dressed as a hippie. Francine delivers the video to Patty, who laughs it off to the kids' surprise. Arthur and Francine initiate a plan to connect Mr. Ratburn with the town's librarian, Ms. Turner.
