Wilton is a census-designated place (CDP) and the main village in the town of Wilton, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States. The CDP extends east into the town of Milford as well. The population of the CDP was 1,324 at the 2020 census , [ 2 ] up from 1,163 at the 2010 census .
Wilton is home to the High Mowing School, a private preparatory school. The main village in town, where 1,324 people resided at the 2020 census, is defined by the U.S. Census Bureau as the Wilton census-designated place and is located near the junction of New Hampshire Routes 31 and 101, at the confluence of Stony Brook with the Souhegan River.
