Nashville Shores is a water park, adventure course, and campground located in Hermitage, Tennessee, along the shore of Percy Priest Lake. Nashville Shores is located adjacent to Interstate 40 . The site was previously the location of Hermitage Landing, a marina, campground, and recreational complex that opened in 1971.
The lake is also home to a number of recreational organizations such as the Tennessee Boat Club, Percy Priest Yacht Club, Vanderbilt Sailing Club, the Vanderbilt Rowing Club and the Nashville Rowing Club. The lake is mentioned in the song "Cover Me Up" by musician Jason Isbell, and later in a cover sung by Morgan Wallen.
The lock, dam, powerhouse and lake are operated and supervised by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' personnel under the direction of the District Engineer at Nashville. The lock allows barges and recreational boats to navigate the Cumberland River. The power plant is operated so as to use as much of the water flow as possible for power production.

Becoming two-laned again, it intersects Bell Road near Nashville Shores, then continues 400 yards (370 m) south to a boat ramp on Percy Priest Lake. Approximately 0.6 miles (0.97 km) south of the boat ramp, the route resumes near the lake at a dead end.
