Dalmeny House (pronounced / d æ l ˈ m ɛ n i / dal-MENI) is a Gothic revival mansion located in an estate close to Dalmeny on the Firth of Forth, in the north-west of Edinburgh, Scotland. It was designed by William Wilkins, and completed in 1817. [1] Dalmeny House is the home of the Earl and Countess of Rosebery.

The current station is the second to serve the town. The first station was on the Port Edgar branch of the Edinburgh and Glasgow Railway which opened on 1 March 1866. [2] [3] The North British Railway closed the original station on 5 March 1890 [2] to be replaced by the existing station at the same time as the opening of the Forth Bridge.
The Dalmeny Street drill hall in Edinburgh, was built as a military drill hall in 1901, and between 2003 and 2010 was redeveloped as community arts and education centre under the name The Out of the Blue Drill Hall. The drill hall is protected as a category A listed building. [1]
