  2. Anyone use Nextdoor? : r/homeowners - Reddit

New homeowner. Got an invite to join Nextdoor in the mail. I generally avoid Facebook and most social media of that ilk, so I’m hesitant. On the other hand, knowing more about the neighborhood and immediate neighbors seems like a good idea. Is it full of typical social media drama and idiotic political flame wars, or do people find it useful?

  3. Anyone tried advertising using Nextdoor's Neighborhood Ad Center?

    www.reddit.com/r/PPC/comments/jonp59/anyone_tried_advertising_using_nextdoors

Nextdoor ads are expensive. When they reached out to me, and we're not a great fit for them anyways, the minimum CPM they quoted was $20. Ouch. Also, most of the inventory is going to be users browsing on their phones, and at least for us, we have a very hard time converting users from in-app inventory to doing anything on a website.

Nextdoor, by far-- has been the best way for me to gain new customers in the 4 years I have ran my own business. It's not even close. I did do a one month "paid ad" targeting the exact neighborhood I already do work in-- it did gain results and jobs, it paid for itself many times over.

  5. I regret joining NextDoor : r/CasualConversation - Reddit

Needless to say because we’re talking about Nextdoor, but about ten or 13 comments in the issue of race came up entirely unprovoked. Turns out the family with the security cameras lived next to some white people and… weren’t white people. This started to illuminate the ACTUAL problem.

  6. Best Nextdoor Posts - Reddit

Nextdoor is a social networking service for neighborhoods that provides a platform for discussing important topics such as complaints about loud neighbors, dog poop left on lawns, white vans parked on the side of the road, people who drive too slow in the left lane and how evil bicyclists are. This sub is where we discuss all aspects of Nextdoor.

Making real human posts and interacting with the community is much more effective on Nextdoor than paid advertising. Just be a good member of the community and make sure everyone knows what you do. Then ask your customers to recommend you and soon everyone in the neighborhood knows you're go-to guy for what you do.

I'd suggest using next door and find someone around you who had asked a similar question. Google reviews for that person and call. For large projects, get 3 bids. The absolute very best way to find a contractor is through a personal referral with someone who had work done on their house and it went great.

  11. Experiences selling on Nextdoor? : r/dayton - Reddit

I downloaded nextdoor for buy/sell and it was a ghost town. the only active community on there seemed to be complainers. and then the app starts emailing you daily digests of complainers, deleted really fast.
