The National Collegiate Athletic Association volleyball tournament occurs every second semester of the academic year.It is divided into three divisions: the Juniors division for high school male students and the Seniors division which is subdivided into Men's Senior division for male college students and Women's Senior division for female college students.

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) volleyball championships consists of four tournaments, men's and women's in the collegiate division, and boys' and girls' in the high school division. Volleyball is a mandatory sport in the women's division.
The UAAP Season 85 volleyball tournaments were the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) volleyball tournaments for the 2022–23 school year. This was the first completed tournament since 2019. The collegiate men's and women's tournaments began on February 25, 2023. [1] [2]
