New York State Route 275 (NY 275) is a north–south state highway in Allegany County, New York, in the United States.It runs for 11.47 miles (18.46 km), connecting the village of Bolivar and NY 417 at its southern end with the hamlet of Friendship to the north, where it intersects the Southern Tier Expressway (NY 17 and Interstate 86 or I-86) by way of an interchange.
The New York State Police is one of only five state police agencies in the United States that, as of 2019, does not equip its state police vehicles with dashboard cameras. New York State Troopers starting on April 5, 2021 have started receiving body-worn cameras.
The Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge, 4.32 miles (6.95 km) to the north, carries New York State Route 199 and is the nearest bridge traversing the Hudson River. U.S. Highway 9W runs north–south through the city. The New York State Thruway, carrying the Interstate 87 designation through this section, runs through the western part of the city.
