The Zamora Trophy (Spanish: Trofeo Ricardo Zamora) is a football award, established by Spanish newspaper Marca in 1958. The award goes to the goalkeeper who has the lowest "goals-to-games" ratio. [1] In the inaugural year of the award, the winning goalkeeper had to play at least 15 league matches in the current season.
In the same season, she won the Zamora trophy awarded to the goalkeeper with the lowest "goals-to-games" ratio in the Spanish league. By March 2023 she had made her 100th appearance for the Merengues , reaching the milestone in the same match as midfielder Maite Oroz .
