Jaworski became a PBA player in 1975 after the Toyota Comets became one of the league's founding franchises when the league was formed the same year. Jaworski had for his original teammates Arnaiz, Reynoso, Fernandez, Reynoso's younger brother Cristino (Tino), Rodolfo "Ompong" Segura, Oscar Rocha, Joaquin "Jake" Rojas, and Orlando "Orly" Bauzon.
Toyota won the reunion game 65-61. After Adornado's three-pointer with under a minute left to cut the deficit at 62–61, Toyota teammate and former rival Fernandez passed the ball to Jaworski on the outside. Jaworski hit the three-pointer to put the game away for good, to the delight of the huge crowd.
Jaworski, along with three other Toyota players namely; Francis Arnaiz, Chito Loyzaga and Arnie Tuadles, refused to play for Beer Hausen. In an official statement, Gilbey's owner Carlos Palanca said they will be able to accommodate Francis Arnaiz, but have to drop Loyzaga and Tuadles, because the team already has a complete backcourt lineup. The league's third season started on April 17 and for the first time, three referees were called to officiate the games. The opening game between Crispa and Toyota, where the Redmanizers edged out the Tamaraws, 122–121, was marred by a post-game rumble involving players from both teams that erupted at the Araneta Coliseum hardcourt and extended to the dugout.
