I notice that the LM2 trucks with the Diesel Off Road package have a 23 mpg/hwy on the window stickers. All the other LM2 trucks get 26 on the hwy (according to the window sticker). I also noticed the same with the 3.0 Trail Boss trucks (3.23's). I think the 3.73 trucks come w/heavier tires. Anyone have any experience w/mpg's with the 3.73 ...

2024 First DEF fill-up. I got this message on my way to work this morning, it popped up with 500 miles DEF range. This is the first time I got a DEF message on the 2024, but I remember my 2020 would first come with a 1000 mile message. Upon start up in came up with a 3 messages, Check Trailer Right turn lamp, than Check Trailer Left turn lamp, then check Trail brake lamps. However there is no trailer connected. I thought maybe water in the 7 pin plug. Nope clear and dry, just a little dielectric. Check the trucks turn signals and they blink very fast light a burned out bulb.
And having to hack up the front end.. Not true. Western makes a great plow. There V-plow has much better functionality then the BOSS. But for the most part they are comparable. I own all westerns and love them. Straight, V, whiteout, as long as you have the "Ultra mount" all the plows are interchangeable between trucks. Love this feature
On the passenger side, open the glove box. Remove the console top side piece (the silver piece) Then, starting at the lower section by the glove box, gently remove the trim piece working your way over to the drivers side. Once the piece is free, carefully drill a 1 inch hole in the trim piece.
Even different A/T tires with similar tread can yield 2-3 mpg difference. Tire manufacturers and the Gov't are starting to realize it and publishing rolling resistance ratings. After all this research I came up with my #1 choice being the Michelin LTX A/T 2. They rank right up there at #1 or #2 for traction.
