The director, Gajendra Singh and production house, Urban Brew Studios, then continued the series with a version for juniors called "Amul Star Voice of India Chhote Ustaad," meant for children between the ages of 8 and 14. The series was hosted by Voice of India Jury-Award winner Abhaas Joshi and judges Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, and Pritam.
Majmudar won the "Chhote Ustaad", awarded by Amitabh Bachchan on 5 April 2008 in the Amul Star Voice of India contest. She was also awarded with the "Shahu Modak Award" in 2006, "Power-100" in 2008 and "Sangeet Ratna" in 2009.

This little bundle of melody was a participant in Amul Star Voice of India – Chhote Ustaad and also won a Special Jury Award in the show. She is a multi-talented girl and wanted to become a doctor before she finally realised her dream of becoming a singer. She loves playing the harmonium, guitar, tabla, and sitar and is a talented dancer.
