Om (sometimes stylized as OM) is an American stoner rock band from San Francisco, California. [1] Formed as a duo in 2003 by the rhythm section of the band Sleep (bassist Al Cisneros and drummer Chris Hakius ), Om is currently a trio consisting of Cisneros, Emil Amos (drums), and Tyler Trotter (keyboards).

Alberto R. Cisneros (/ s ɪ s ˈ n ɛr oʊ s /; born September 23, 1973) is an American musician.He is the lead singer and bassist for stoner rock/doom metal bands Sleep [1] and Om. [2] [3] He also was a member of Shrinebuilder and Asbestosdeath (the precursor to Sleep) and has put out nine releases as a solo artist.
