Sir Cyril Jackson KBE (6 February 1863 – 3 September 1924) was a British educationist, important in the development of education in Western Australia. Jackson, the eldest son of Laurence Morris Jackson and Louisa Elizabeth Craven, [ 1 ] was born in Dartmouth Park Road in Kentish Town . [ 2 ]
It was named Cyril Jackson Senior High School, after Cyril Jackson, the inspector-general of schools in Western Australia in the 1890s. [2] It was designed by Silver Fairbrother and Associates architects. [3] It was renamed to its current name in c. 1993. [4] Cyril Jackson Senior Campus has students from Year 11 to Year 12.

Cyril V. Jackson (5 December 1903 – February 1988) was a South African astronomer, known for discovering 72 asteroids and a number of comets. He was born in Ossett, Yorkshire in England ; his father emigrated to South Africa in 1911.
