Garrett, in this house the 42nd president of the United States, Bill Clinton, spent the first four years of his life, having been born on August 19, 1946, at Julia Chester Hospital in Hope, Arkansas.
The second smaller part of the library was built with a Carnegie Foundation grant. [2] The grant of $4,900 was received on January 6, 1915. J. Ades Fowler was the architect for the addition. [3] The Clinton library was the only Ontario library to have an addition funded by the Carnegie Foundation. [4]
