The Central Information Technology Office (or CITO) is an office under the Ministry of Finance in the country of Belize, located in the capital city of Belmopan.The office manages the government’s primary accounting system (SmartStream), as well as the application for the Income Tax and Sales Tax departments (SIGTAS).

Belize (/ b ɪ ˈ l iː z, b ɛ-/ ⓘ, bih-LEEZ, beh-; Belize Kriol English: Bileez) is a country on the north-eastern coast of Central America. It is bordered by Mexico to the north, the Caribbean Sea to the east, and Guatemala to the west and south. It also shares a maritime boundary with Honduras to the southeast.
The 1973 license plates were the first to have the name Belize on them. Full independence from Great Britain took plate on 21 September 1981. [4] [circular reference] The initials "C.A." on the plates stand for "Central America." Still as of 2024, Belize's road code remains BH, despite the country's independence from the United Kingdom.
