The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-Hyderabad or IIIT-H) is a premier deemed university, founded as a non-profit public-private partnership (N-PPP), located in Hyderabad, India. It is the first IIIT in India under this model.

The University of Hyderabad (UoH, but also known as HCU, for Hyderabad Central University) is a Central University located in the city of Hyderabad. Established by the act of parliament of India in 1974, this public and largely residential university occupies about 2000 acres in the locality of Gachibowli on the outskirts of the city
The IITH campus is on a land area of 576 acres (234 ha). Despite being called IIT Hyderabad, its campus is about 60 km from the main city. The academic building is designed by New Delhi-based ARCOP, and hostels, Lecture Hall, and academic departments by Pune-based acclaimed American architect Prof. Christopher Charles Benninger.
