The Three Happy Friends (Spanish: Las tres alegres comadres) is a 1952 Mexican musical comedy film directed by Tito Davison and starring Amalia Aguilar, Lilia Prado and Lilia del Valle. [1] [2] It should not be confused with The Three Happy Compadres released the same year. It was shot at the Churubusco Studios in Mexico City.
The story is focused around three best friends — Hoston, Alina and Edessot. [4] Hoston's father falls ill and the three friends are left to seek a rare magic herb to cure him. This story later develops into a much larger plot surrounding Pier Solar and the Great Architects.
