Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (or Amrita University) is a multi-campus, multi-disciplinary, research-intensive private deemed university in India. [2] It currently has 19 constituent schools spread across nine campuses in Amaravati , Amritapuri (Kollam), Bangalore , Chennai , Coimbatore , Kochi , Faridabad , Mysore , and Nagercoil .
Based on research conducted by Amrita University, [2] Amrita Learning was founded in Kochi, Kerala, India by Raghu Raman and is directed by Prema Nedungadi [4] in 2005. [2] In August 2007, Amrita Learning partnered with broadband providers BSNL to provide educational content as part of their subscriber package.
