The Yolk's on You is a 1980 non-theatrical Easter special and Looney Tunes animated cartoon short film starring Daffy Duck, Sylvester the Cat, and Foghorn Leghorn. [1] It first aired April 1, 1980 on NBC as part of the special Daffy Duck's Easter Show (later renamed Daffy Duck's Easter Egg-citement) and is a rare example of Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester, and Daffy appearing together.
At one point, Daffy uses a grenade painted white as a trap for the alligator. Honeybunch mistakes it as Daffy throwing away their egg, so she strangles Daffy and forces him to sit on that "egg", ignoring Daffy's explanation that it is a grenade, not the real egg. It explodes, setting his tail on fire.
Daffy is given five minutes to lay the egg, or else. The duck insists on privacy, then tries various ways to escape his predicament, but is stopped at every turn. When time runs out, Rocky fires his gun at Daffy's head. The extreme stress results in him actually laying a golden egg. Relieved he is now free to go, Daffy prances toward the door.
